The Gränsfors Bruks Long & Large Scandinavian Splitting Axe with Collar #445 is designed for splitting chunks of wood, “rounds”. Specifications – 3-1/2 lb. head, 3″ face & 31″ handle.

The Gränsfors Bruks Long & Large Scandinavian Splitting Axe with Collar offers a great swing and is a superb general-purpose firewood maker.  The addition of a steel collar beneath the head reinforces the handle against impact with the wood.
